Marshmallow Popcorn Bars with Chocolate Candies

With their delicious blend of sweet and salty flavors, these marshmallow popcorn bars with chocolate candies are a delightful treat for any occasion. Theyre simple to prepare and a great idea to share with loved ones.

Ingredients:

  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chocolate candies such as M&Ms
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium-low heat

Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt

Add the popped popcorn to the marshmallow mixture and gently stir until evenly coated

Fold in the chocolate candies until distributed throughout the mixture

Transfer the popcorn mixture to the prepared baking pan and press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands

Allow the bars to cool and set at room temperature for about 1 hour

Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the pan and onto a cutting board

Cut into squares or bars and serve
