Gluten-Free Apple Pie Lara Bars

Enjoy the delicious flavors of apple pie in a convenient gluten-free Lara Bar format. These bars are perfect for a quick and healthy snack on the go.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried dates
  • 1 cup dried apples
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Using a food processor, blend the dried apples and dates together until they turn into a sticky paste

Put in the food processor the coconut shreds, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, walnuts, and almonds

Mix the ingredients together in a blender until the mixture sticks together

Cover an 8x8-inch 20x20 cm baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some extra on the sides to make it easy to take off

Its important to press the mixture into the baking dish so that its even and smooth

Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set

Using the extra piece of parchment paper, lift the bars out of the dish and cut them into Lara Bar-sized pieces

The Gluten-Free Apple Pie Lara Bars can be kept in the fridge for up to two weeks in a container that doesnt let air in
